    • On macOS: This involves the use of security-scoped bookmarks to retain access to user-selected file paths with your permission.

    • On iOS: Direct file paths are used.

    • Note: The video files remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

  • Metadata: You may create and associate metadata with your videos, such as:

    • Display names

    • Difficulty levels

    • Practice statuses

    • Tags and custom categorized tags

    • Loop bookmark information (start/end times, names)

      This metadata is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

b. Automatically Collected Information (Non-Personal):

  • Usage Data: We may collect aggregated, non-personal data about your interaction with the App (e.g., features used, session duration) for improvement purposes. This data is anonymized.

  • Device and App Info: Non-personal details like device model, OS version, and app version may be collected for diagnostics.

  • Crash Reports: In the event of a crash, anonymized reports may be generated (device type, OS, crash context), excluding personal files and detailed metadata.

Ryloop uses the handled data exclusively for:

  • App Functionality: To let you import, play, loop, tag, and manage videos on your local device.

  • App Improvement: To improve usability and stability based on anonymized usage insights.

  • Local Storage: All videos and metadata are stored locally on your device. Ryloop does not upload or sync this content to any cloud server.

  • Deletion: You can delete videos and metadata from within the app. Deleting the app will also remove all Ryloop-related local data.

Ryloop is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If such data is discovered, we will delete it.
